About

Hi, I'm Krish.

I'm a software engineer focused on backend systems, internal platforms, and the craft of code that other people can extend without frustration.

At PhysicsWallah I work on an Internal Developer Platform — service onboarding, GitLab integrations, Kafka pipelines, RBAC, and self-service workflows that help teams ship faster.

I care about distributed systems, observability, load testing at scale, and turning operational pain into reusable tooling. This blog is where I think out loud about what I build.

Outside of work you'll find me reading, walking without a destination, or contributing to open source in the Go ecosystem.

  • Internal Developer Platform (Go, GraphQL, PostgreSQL): service onboarding, GitLab, Kafka, RBAC, self-service workflows
  • Modular workflow engine for platform operations
  • JMeter → k6 migration; Jenkins load-test automation at Vishwas Diwas scale
  • MongoDB → Aerospike migration POC; API consolidation into dedicated microservice
  • AI-assisted incident investigation (Zenduty, Prometheus, Elastic APM, K8s, RAG over Confluence, OpenAI SDK)
  • Internal Go libraries (k6 → Postman converter; planned OSS release)

Open Source

Contributions

Patches and improvements upstream in the Go ecosystem.

redis/go-redis

Cluster routing optimizations

Refactored cmdFirstKeyPos using cached COMMAND INFO; lock-free Peek(); fewer cluster routing lookups on hot paths.
